Hi everybody, my name is Daniela Totaro and I'm a final-year student of the SSML Gregorio VII in Rome.
This blog has been created in order to discuss and talk about my graduation thesis, dedicated to intecultural humour. I chose this topic because, being a final-year student in translation and interpreting I wanted to analyze the humorous aspect linked to this theme, because of the real difficulty for people speaking different languages to understand a joke told by a foreign person, since humorous expressions cling to the culture they belong, and as a consequence this problem involves also the translation field.
